For our genre we have chosen a tragic drama. We deicded to make it more of a specific genre as we felt drama was too broad and we wanted something to narrow down our choice of storylines. When you think of drama's you think of the typical points that are assosiated with it like love, affairs, death, betrayal, neglect etc. When creating this moodboard we though of all the different things that our film could be about to help us come to a decision of what our opening was going to be based on. From the beginning we all liked the idea of using a child as a focal point that brings emotion to the film. We have looked into this when doing our moodboard and wanted there to be a connection lost between a child and a parent. we put this across in the moodboard by gathering images of families but also contrasting that by having children upset and and neglected to show how we are still thinking about how we are going develop our storyline. The images of the actors and actresses that i have gathered are all the kind of people i would assosiate with drama's and would be the kind of people that we would have starring in our peice. As well as this there are also images of films that i consider similar to genre we want to create.
